Julie Pickens and Mindee Doney developed the first ever saline nose wipe which as you can see from above, they called  Boogie Wipes as a solution for their kids’ sore, red, runny noses.  Using the idea of Boogie Wipes and their business backgrounds they formed Little Busy Bodies, Inc. in May 2007. After a lot of research and development, they hired a chemist, surveyed consumers and interviewed manufacturers, they sold their first package of Boogie Wipes in December 2007.  After that things took off and Boogie wipes can be found in several chain stores including Walgreens, Toys 'R'Us, Target, and Walmart.

Product Review

I first tried these a couple of weeks ago when my sister got them for my nephew because his allergies had been acting up and he was starting to get a cold. And we all know that little stuffy, runny noses always tend to come along with those. These worked wonders for him. Especially compared to using a Kleenex or even a regular diaper wipe.  The saline in these really breaks down the mucus.  Also his nose didn't get red and raw like it does with normal wipes.  I later ended up getting a stuffy nose from where our house stays so dry and mother nature couldn't decide if she wanted it to be sunny, snowy, or raining so my sinuses were out of whack for a few days. These worked great for me as well. They are soft and moist like a diaper wipe but you can definitely tell they've got something extra in there. I believe it's the combination of the saline and aloe.  These didnt cause my skin to break out either which other wipes have done in the past.
Boogie wipes are great for the job suggested (cleaning boogies away), but I've also used them to remove my makeup and to clean up my nephew's sticky face and hands after he got pop all over himself.  These are just as versatile as diaper wipes except they are better.  The towelette is large (7x7.9 in / 17.8x 20.1 cm) so it can handle a very runny nose as well as a big sticky mess.  It's also thick and durable so no tearing while in use.  I personally suggest that if you aren't in a hurry or only have a small mess or slightly runny nose to clean you could definitely snip these in half as you take them out the package. I know this is an added step but sometimes I found these excessive for some jobs and felt like I was wasting them.
Boogie wipes currently come in 5 (and soon to be 6) different varieties including Boogie Wipes 30ct and 45 ct which have the snapping lids to keep them from drying out, Boogie Wipes 10ct pack, Boogie Wipes 90 ct canister, Boogie Wipes Blasters 12ct pack, and finally the soon to be released Boogie Mist.  These are available in 5 scent varieties with certain scents being limited to certain varieties.  One of the "scents" is actually unscented so if you or someone you know is sensitive to smells they have a product that fits your needs as well.
I find these to be a bit on the expensive side when compared to other products (tissues, wipes) that are used for the same purpose.

Prices
Boogie Wipes 10ct pack.................................$1.59
Boogie Wipes Blasters 12ct pack....................$1.59
Boogie Wipes 30ct pack................................$3.99
Boogie Wipes 45 ct pack...............................$4.99
Boogie Wipes 90ct Canister..........................$8.99

However, I believe they are worth it.  They actually do what they claim they are supposed to.  If you have children or have been around them, you know nothing is worse than trying to get them to blow their nose, especially when its raw, red, and hurts.  Its not fun for us adults either.  If you use these for what they were designed for (boogies) then they should last a decent amount of time depending on the number of people using them and how often they're used. As I recommended above, you might consider snipping these in half. You can see from the last photo I posted that 1 wipe folded in half is larger than the container itself.
I recommend these to everyone, especially parents with little ones running around. They come in very handy and are portable so you can keep them on you for whenever you may need them.  It never hurts to try something new, and I'm sure after your first purchase you'll be hooked...
